St Michael Catholic Church attempts to assist, when we can, with utility, food, and or housing needs. Remember, we are a small parish with very limited resources, but we do what we can as we can.

In addition, we assist with having volunteer groups come into the area to assist poor and other in need with various tasks. Any YOUTH GROUPS, ADULT GROUPS, or other are invited to contact church if they would like to volunteer their time and talents to the poor.

St Michael has an annual Christmas Program which consists of gathering gifts and food then distributing to needy in area. Distribution takes place once a year typically around the second week of December. Contact church for additional information.

St Michael Catholic Church has a homebound program where priest, deacon or special ministers will come to your home to provide communion and fellowship. Call St Michael Catholic Church if you would like to be added to our homebound list.

Christmas Program- Each year for over 40 years, St Michael Parish in Paintsville, KY holds a Christmas Program. This is held with the assistance of numerous parishes in Minnesota, as well as assistance from churches in KY. The parishes and individuals as well as groups in Minnesota are a GIANT part of this program. They work the entire year gathering and inventorying items to be sent to KY for Christmas Program. St Michael Parish, a small Catholic Parish in Appalachian Mountains of East KY assists over 200 families annually with the Christmas Program.
